Chennai Super Kings are out of the competition. For the first time in the history of IPL, Chennai has been eliminated from the league stage. After losing the toss in the night’s game, Chennai lost 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 114 runs.
Mumbai reached the target of 115 runs in 12 overs with 2 balls to spare. With the win, Mumbai have 14 points from 10 games. Even though Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have 14 points, Mumbai have reached the top of the league in terms of run rate.
